Locally, we are selling buttons for $1 on our campus, but we would love if the message could get spread further. Not only are we trying to bring a friend home, but we are trying to spread awareness about homeless LGBT+ youth and the struggles that they face. Though this is a local story in Eau Claire, WI, LGBT+ homelessness is a widespread problem. As stated, 20% of homeless youth in the United States are part of the LGBT+ community.

Today concluded our fundraising on campus with the buttons. The Paypal will stay open until May 1st and any donations before then will be added to our total.

Due to the overwhelming amount of support we had, we more than tripled our goal of $150. Thank you!
